Towels

It's been a while since i entered a race but I've got a few coming up over the next weeks.  I'm nowhere near as fast as I used to be, it takes me as long (sometimes longer) to do 10 miles now as it used to take me to do 13, but I do enjoy the camaraderie of an event and the chance to run somewhere different.

Other than not being too impressed by the Race Director telling us the "start is downhill" (she LIED) the course was good, all trails and off road and undulating enough so that when you thought you were about to vomit pass out die on the uphills, gravity was then allowed to assist.

All that and home in time for lunch. Followed by the Sunday domesticity of washing towels and cleaning the bathroom.
