Mae'n anodd credu roedd Daniel yn gweithio yn IKEA ar ddechrau'r wythnos. Mae'n teimlo fel amser hir yn ôl iddo fe adael. Heddiw oedd diwrnod cyntaf i gwrdd â'r teulu ac aethon ni i ‘Troy Meze Bar’ yn y Rhath i ddathlu dianc Daniel (eto).

Roedd ‘Troy’ yn cael digon o ddewisiadau bwyd, digon i ddigon i foddhau llysieuwyr a hollysyddion hefyd. Roedd y gwasanaeth yn gyflym a - bwysig iawn -  roedd y bwyd yn dda iawn hefyd. Aethon ni i ‘Joe’s Ice Cream’ ar y ffordd adre. Mae'n hwyl i gael eich prif gwrs yn un lle ac eich pwdin rhywle arall.

Mae'r Rhath yn gyfoethog iawn gyda lleoedd i fwyta dydd neu nos. Mae'n rhywbeth rydyn ni'n colli yn Yr Eglwys Newydd.

Treulion ni'r gweddill y prynhawn gyda'r teulu yn sgwrsio ac yn chwarae gemau.  Mae Richard a Steph yn cynllunio ail-adeiladu eu cegin.  Roedd e'n ddiddorol iawn i weld y cynlluniau. Maen nhw'n edrych yn dda iawn.

It's hard to believe Daniel was working at IKEA at the start of the week. It feels like a long time ago that he left. Today was the first day to meet the family and we went to 'Troy Meze Bar' in Roath to celebrate Daniel's escape (again).

'Troy' had plenty of food choices, enough to satisfy vegetarians and omnivores too. The service was quick and - very important - the food was also very good. We went to 'Joe's Ice Cream' on the way home. It's fun to have your main course in one place and your dessert somewhere else.

Roath is very rich with places to eat day or night. It is something we are missing in Whitchurch.

We spent the rest of the afternoon with the family chatting and playing games. Richard and Steph are planning to rebuild their kitchen. It was very interesting to see the plans. They look very good.
