Too Late For Tacos.

Pat is a member of a Facebook Coeliac Group for Scotland. Much of their discussions are about restaurants and other outlets who cater for those whose meals must be gluten free.

There is a take away Mexican food wagon based in Guardbridge and they are open for a few hours on Saturday on Sunday. The coeliac members are very impressed with the food produced.

We set off for Guardbridge which is about 5 miles away, and arrived in time to discover that they had sold out! Pat was among several members of the Facebook who were similarly disappointed.

The food wagon is parked on the grounds of a gluten free brewery started by a coeliac sufferer.

I have set up a reminder for next weekend. Hopefully we will be more successful.

On the return journey we stopped off to deposit the ‘empty bottles’ at the bottle bank.

Pat made some Mexican food upon our return.

And today’s entry is a portrait of Pat painted some 53 years ago. Apparently, the painter had finished the assignment in a student class at California College of Arts and Crafts well before the allocated time. He kept busy and completed the portrait in 30 minutes or so.
