Mono?

What with mono month and mono monday all at the same time I feel a little mono.. however, I did at last have another go at capturing the hug-a-mug painting. Using the notan app to try to see shapes rather than things and to help see lights and darks.. here is my take on it.  I quite like it and on this cold mono morning with rain and wind outside it at least helped to keep me feeling a little warmer. So I share with you both the mono and the colour versions of photo and painting.. I definitely will paint this or something like it again. 

No cleaner today as her daughter not well... so now to set to and get it done myself.
