An Eye

Temperature -2. Moderate wind from northwest, mostly overcast, a little sun.

I had a doctor's appointment again. This time there weren't a stormy weather, unbelievably, but very icy to walk from the car. Got a parking space quite near the door, but the parking space for people with reduced mobility is usual reserved (Extra).

Today it's Runeberg Day, the day of Johan Runeberg's birth in 1804. I blipped this matter also last year ( see Feb 5th, '23).

Runeberg is considered Finland's national poet, and one of his poems "Maamme-laulu" became the national anthem of Finland. A pastry named Runeberg's torte is typically eaten today and only in Finland (in main). Although it's available in stores long before, to sweet tooth... We don't belong ro them, but bought those just today ;)))
