Avalanche into the Nant Valley

I don’t know when this wet avalanche came down but you can see the line it followed. I decided to go for a cold walk today, I never felt the sun but it was on the upper cliffs of the Grand Muveran Massif and had caused the avalanches to come down. I love this valley in all seasons and sitting on the snow covered table at the Nant farm, was magical (extra). A deep silence pervades this valley in the winter. 

This evening I went to try to see the Eurasian Eagle owls again but by the time they were active there was too little light for my camera. I was really lucky to get the shots two days ago. Now I am just warming through again. Hence another late blip!
