New Zealand Pigeon or Kereru.

Went back down to the beach, as the Gannet was flying around again, and as I walked past a lucerne tree, I spotted this pigeon. Managed to get 2 shots before Gypsy & Poppy spotted it too. As they started barking, two pigeons flew out of the tree. Later as we walked back up the drive, Poppy stopped with her nose in the air. After a bit, I walked back down and looked up into the big manuka tree that over hangs the driveway. There were the two pigeons sitting side-by-side, well away from pesky little dogs!
