Holding love

The theme for today's Tiny Tuesday challenge is: Something Special to me.

For my son's 21st I took him to a jewellers to chose a ring.  After looking at their selection of both gold and silver, with and without gemstones and engraving, the top ring was his choice.  I have worn it since his death at 24, 10 years ago.

The claddagh ring I bought myself on a trip to Ireland 5 years ago.  I've worn them side by side ever since as he metaphorically holds my heart in his hands,
