Cabrillo's View

Did a lot on my final day of vacation. Started off with a big breakfast at kono's in pacific beach. Bacon, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, English muffin. Cheap ad cheerful - as much of a greasy spoon as you will find here. Others agreed as the queue was out the door as soon as we arrived and only got longer.

Walked around PB/mission beach + bay to stave off type 2 diabetes. Sunny with a cooling breeze.

Then off back to the county clerk downtown to pay the outstanding $8 for our wedding license. Was pissed that they could get the amount we had to pay wrong, but this quickly went as I found out our admin women had actually pay the balance out of her own money as she felt so bad. So quickly paid her the $8 back. Paperwork is in the system so should be ready for Friday!

Then off to coronardo over the massive bay bridge. Always a good drive. Had a look around the bay park on the downtown side of the island. Then on the boardwalk down by the hotel del on the sea side.

We then went back and around to the national cabrillo monument atop the end of point loma for the spectacular view depicted in this blip of downtown and coronardo island.

Back home briefly to walk babe before heading off to the Cheesecake Factory to top up saturated far levels after not eating since breakfast. Fish and chips and a large slice of blueberry cheesecake.

Back to work tomorrow :-(
