Paradise duck …..

….. ….. ….. in amongst the tarn’s carex secta grasses.

It seems as though there was far less tension at Waitangi today than had been expected. What a relief for them all. We don’t celebrate Waitangi Day as a family and I only know one person who does. She goes over to the celebration at Port Levy every year. It’s very important to some people and maybe we’ll all come to take it more seriously. After all, the Treaty of Waitangi is the foundation of New Zealand.

Three of us got back to doing yoga again this morning and we were all stiff after our long break, but very pleased to be getting going again. I’ve realised that walking simply isn’t enough. My daughter had broken her arm and our 3rd member had broken 2 bones in her foot on holiday in Turkey.
