The Great Wall of China

We went up the cable car to our visiting point on the Great Wall of China walking back down. It was a stunning sight following the wall along the mountain ridges.
The smog however in Beijing and its surrounding area meant however that both air quality and visibility were poor. Our friend James from Beijing says that even without smog the summer haze can mean you can't see much in summer months.
Nevertheless it was an experience that completely lived up to its hype.
