"Sweet Amber"...

...Our grand daughter - the eldest child of our daughter and son-in-law...

Amber is almost 15 and is holidaying in South Australia with her other grandparents who live down south of where we are staying at the moment...and she wanted to come up to see Nanna and Papa as well and so today, we had the pleasure of her company for a few hours which was so lovely as we don't often see her...the last time was around 10 months ago...it seems such a long time ago when we live so far from them..

...Amber lives with her family on the Gold Coast and travelled down by air last week, and her visit worked in well, as we travel back to our home this week...

...A very clever girl who has not long returned from a school trip to USA, kids get about these days don't they...well I guess I did too, having left home at 12-13 to go to college, etc...Amber has been a seasoned air traveller together with her brother and sister and as well - our other 2 grand daughters, who are now 28 and 26..

...We are both starting to feel old now with great grandchild No. 4 due in September...
