Gone to seed....

Less than two years ago this would have been a shot of the immaculate lawn of Raynes Park Bowls Club, but as you can see things have slipped a bit. I suspect that covid and the lockdowns put paid to this club like many sporting clubs with ageing memberships. I've no idea what the rather rusty object in the foreground is, possibly some kind of scoring device? Perhaps a more knowledgeable blipper can enlighten me.
