project of the week

We've got my grandparents' chandelier for our living room. The last time it was hanging in a standard height flat (it's been in storage for a while). Our flat has 3.40m ceilings and we need to attach a longer chain and put in a new wire. The bits are on order and should arrive in the next couple of days. Threading the cable through the pipe and attaching the wires to the wires going to the sockets will be fun. I hope I left all the bits in the right order. Hanging it should be no problem. Our ceiling has a hook for exactly this purpose.
