A bright blue sky and sunshine was the gift of the weather gods today . We took the opportunity for a walk,up the hill that lies behind the house , along a crispy path glittering with the crystals that form at these low temperatures.
Our soupy lunch was eaten as we gathered around the “cauldron fire,” set up on the snow. Now we are sitting in front of another fire discussing our evening meal .
Early night tonight and a very early get up in the morning!
