Wide Wednesday - Wide Open

Wide open space - a joy to behold on such a lovely day as this!

This was taken from the viewpoint field in Drymen this afternoon, when Minty and I met up with pal Liz and her border collie pup, Milo, for a walk.

Liz is keen for Milo to meet other dogs and Minty, bless him, was very patient with the young pup's exuberance, which included some nipping of his ears. When Milo was allowed off the lead for a few minutes, the two of them had a wild romp which was very entertaining to watch.

After the walk we had coffee in the dog-friendly Alfie's where the pooches behaved impeccably and were rewarded with a treat from the staff.
