I Should Have Seen It Coming

We had a lazy start this morning, and then two trips to the tip to offload six rubble bags of garden waste.

We then went for an easy relaxed walk along the lanes around Bromfield and the estate of the Earl of Plymouth.

He wasn't home so we just helped ourselves.

It was a nice way to take our minds off the phonecall. 

Next week I am booked in for a procedure that has been five years in the coming, and now it is here.

Having waited this long it should be no surprise, I should have seen it coming. 

And yet another pair of displaced spectacles, I hope the owner got home ok....
