Overnight Snow

An unwelcome sight awaited me when I awoke this morning. We had a small snowfall overnight, maybe about 3 cm. We have had brilliant sunshine all day which has melted most of it. I expect there might be some small icy patches tomorrow morning in places where the snow did not melt today.

Despite the sunshine it has been very cold, the temperature never getting above 3º.
