A Riot Of Flowers

The theme for today's abstract challenge, set by Ingeborg, is Colourful and Festive. This started our as two pieces of flowered craft paper with different designs, one superimposed on the other..  The result was given a  twirl in Serif Photo Plus editing software and the colour enhanced.
Sorry Ingeborg I have only covered one element of your theme.  I have got colourful  but have failed to link it to Festive.
Just hope you will accept my half effort.
