Signal box

Having hardly left the house all day because of the non-stop rain, at about 4 o’clock, the rain stopped so Laika and I went out for a walk. There was no way I was going to take her anywhere she could roll in mud, so we ended up exploring the streets of Belle Vue. There is so much to see and so much history. I love the rows of Railway cottages, the grand houses, the community pubs, churches and church halls, all being used and supported by the local community. This signal box, I think, is now out of commission, but I’m sure Tryfan46 will put us right.
