Bitter leaves

Nice conversation with young assistant in the grocery shop today. He was curious about radicchio and whitloof so I got him to sample some of the ones I had bought ( tiny bites and he was brave). Then he showed me web pages he has been researching them on. I think he will try them properly now. Made my day! Simple as that :)
