Vastenavend

Today the ‘Vastenavend’ (as we call Carnival over here) has an unofficial start. Almost every school in town is having a parade, walking from school to the town centre. Every class made something with the theme of this year, which is ‘Do you also see them flying?’ This means something like ‘are you crazy and seeing things?!’ But it can be used in many ways. The themes are always used in very creative ways.
My little friends asked if I can come to see them in the parade. Of course I can! It’s to much fun to miss:-D
