St Alban campsite

There is no scramble for the sun loungers or anyone in the pool today as it is much too cold. Even the locals are saying it is more like April or October than the middle of June. Enough is enough! Even though this is a lovely campsite and there is lots of sun, the chilly wind has made us decide to head west and lower down the massif central. On this site we are about 3500 - 4000 ft above sea level. The flowers are absolutely magnificient. There are fields of buttercups and broom. Marguarites cornflowers and poppies along the roadsides, but a chilly wind!!!!!
