Man of the Day

Hertfordshire County Yr9 Champs today. The boys played above all expectations. Will saved a p flick from a kid who plays in the Talent Academy. Semi finals went to shuffles and Will saved 4/5. Finalists go through to the regionals so the boys already achieved more than expected. Final went to shuffles. Will saved 3/5 but unfortunately it wasn't enough. Runners up though, way above what they expected at the beginning of the day. Goalies rarely get MOTD so he is very happy. He did tell me he played out of his skin, some random keeper coach with a clipboard asked his name and his teacher has said he now owes Will a McDonald's!
