Found

Searching about in a box of jewellery I inherited from my mother I (re)found this small brick of amber.. and inside it a.. not sure what but perhaps a fungus gnat.  This is not a particularly good photo but I took it to see the miniscule creature a little more clearly. I guess it met its sticky end around 50 million years ago.. something to contemplate..
