AEG e10 error

An essential piece of white goods for any modern household is the washing machine. Our flashy AEG is just a few months out of its 5yr guarantee when it starts to throw e10 errors three times in every wash cycle.

A quick search of the internet pins the problem down to a water inlet issue. So after establishing that the water flow was unimpeded, i pulled out the inlet filter and cleaned the outlet filter.

But sadly no change - so next step is to replace either the water valve and sensor module or the motherboard. As the valve & sensor module is quick and cheap and the motherboard is the price of a new machine, I bought the valve and replaced old with new. Problem now seems to have gone away - phew!
