Hard Work

This morning I finally lifted out a stump I have been working on for awhile. I felt pretty good that I managed it all. Lots of underground roots had to be sawed off. I put in a slip for the gardeners to do it but they are over worked and they were not able to help for a couple of weeks so I had a go. 

My sister H popped in for a visit and then my friend A came for a longer visit. We had lots to talk about and we did so with lots of cuppas and food and had a long enjoyable conversation.. Finally Charlie demanded his dinner and walk. We agreed that we had tired ourselves out from some very serious discussions. TBC … whenever that may be.
