A relaxing afternoon

With isbi down in the city I decided to watch the Blackheath vs Kedumba Kookaburras cricket match which was a “top of the table” game (well, 2nd vs 3rd anyway). The added attraction was that our son Graham plays for the KKs.
Here’s Graham (left) consoling a teammate returning from a brief visit to the crease. Graham was well qualified for this role having suffered a similar fate only 20 minutes earlier.
The result was very exciting - Blackheath scored 8/179 in their 40 overs while the Kedumba boys were bowled out for 172 in reply.
I played in this same competition until my late 40s and Graham’s only in his early 40s so he should have almost reached the peak of his cricketing skills!
