Wall

Here we see a remnant of the old wall that surrounded the Emma coal mine and closed it off from the outside world.
On this side of the wall were the halls and machinery of the State Mine. I often went here with my father in my youth - the 60s and 70s. He had his Daf 33 and later Daf 66 in maintenance here.
The Emma coal mine closed in 1968. However, the workshop in question was still in operation for many years afterward. The last company buildings were demolished in 1994. What remains is this piece of wall.
