On The Lookout....

.....Tim was for the annual Blackbirds Flight Relay, which took part In a county each year, that county was chosen at random via a draw.

Tim was at a checkpoint, keeping an eye on the 'Flyers' - those taking part, and helping provide refreshment to those who needed it.

As it happened, the event passed off peacefully, with good weather, it was dry, with patchy cloud, and the temperature was just fine for this type of flying.

The 'Newcastle Flyers' won the event, and their team and families would get to enjoy a week's worth of suet as a prize, with Tim getting to enjoy a day's meal of suet with his family for being a 'Lookout' :-)
