Plaited palm

Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh 

I took a day off for M's birthday. MK was through and four of us went for a tour of the Botanics, followed by afternoon tea. It was a bleak, cold, grey and wet day - but as tours need to be booked two weeks in advance that could happen anytime of year really. 
Our guide made the tour worth the chill (lots to learn about snowdrops, and other plants). 
The afternoon tea was very well received after the walk and overall a really good day.
