Millie loves cream!

Millie can amuse herself and J for a long time with an apparently empty cream pot, and is extremely adept at using a combination of tongue and paw to extract every last smear. 

J was quite unwell, with a very high temperature (though five days on, as I catch up with back-blips, she's a lot better), so we were relieved that the nurse practitioner saw her, made an interim diagnosis and prescribed antibiotics - rightly, on this occasion, though I'm always keen to avoid them if we can. J spent a lot of the day vegetating with 1970s Dr Who episodes, and Millie kept her company very sweetly, curled on her lap, while I finally managed to complete the year's first batch of marmalade.
