Top worker!

A full day here at Careywood, son David up from Christchurch to check on his “olds” for 24 hours and Mary-Anne arriving with Darcy at 8.30 am. I enjoyed Darcy’s company and Mary-Anne and Dr D headed out to the garden , spending the next 4 hours on the end of chainsaws, trimming a storm damaged tree and several cherry trees that needed judicious trimming ( see M-A operating chainsaw from tractor front end loader, carefully positioned from point to point by Dr D) and finally felling a couple of thuja occidentalis pyramidalis that were past their best and being starved of light by neighbouring Himalayan cedars.
All branches and trees then trimmed, firewood set aside and they loaded the truck with all the green waste (1 tonne) and took it to the dump. What a team!!
