Retail Therapy

We noticed Ella needed a new backpack so for entertainment today we took the twins to a big shopping mall. Unsurprisingly it’s not something they do much of. I think Helen or Omar duck out to shop while the other minds them.
So they enjoyed riding the escalators and climbing into all the kiddie cars etc they came across. We didn’t let on you can make them jiggle about with the insertion of several gold coins. There were also a couple of play areas for parental respite.
But the highlight was definitely the purchase of the two new backpacks. It’s lovely to see how excited kids get about a humble item.
Their parents have now returned and repossessed them.
