What a bizarre way to finish.

6N2024. Scotland v France.

The game finished with five minutes of controversy, (and much discussion in our family!); the photographic evidence showed the ball on the ground, a winning Scotland try…. “It looks like it’s probably on the ground” said Nigel Owen, formerly no 1 referee in the world, now a pundit. The others said similarly so. “Nic, there is the ball on the ground” said Brian MacNiece TMO on his microphone; further conversation ensued ….and then a no try decision by Nic Berry Referee! Finn Russell, Joint Captain, conceded the game should never have boiled down to the last-gasp flashpoint. "Personally I believe it was a try at the end, but it's up to the referee to decide that" said. "We can't let the referee decide what happens in a game, it's up to us to play better and make these matches a victory."

He’s right. Scotland lost 16-20. Cheers.
