Another wet one

Another wet day. Strange to think that my routine here is so similar to what it would be in Canada. Work, breaks, just in a much nicer setting. Been working on the New Zealand stuff, which is fine for what it is, but it does tend to get a little monotonous at times. But as it is pouring down, it’s fine. S still at loggerheads with the insurance people…

Called home just as Mrs Ottawacker was due to take out Ottawacker Jr. on his weekly bus ride. He’s doing well after his elbow issues, which might not have been a dislocation after all. Who can tell. He says he’s fine, so we relented about his playing soccer – just not as a goalie.

Spent the afternoon working, listening to the Liverpool win over Burnley. Then dinner of moules-frites.
