One day at a time

A convivial visit to Capheaton village hall always goes down a treat.
Run by young ladies they provide sustenance to passers-by on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year to raise funds to maintain the hall in this tiny village.
It is overwhelmingly patronised by male cyclists who generally speaking are growing old but still wear lycra.
This photo was taken in the small room beside the main hall. The log burner was on and it was very warm in there. This wall has a fascinating collection of local photos from long ago and is worth a visit to view them over a cup of coffee (free refill).
