A murky morning seemed like the perfect time for making a pot of cock-a-parsnip-leekie soup, so that’s just what I did. We then ate half of it for lunch of course. Spent a while doing a final photo edit then created the first draft of our recent SA trip’s photo-book. It needs some work but I think the end result will be pretty decent.
Then I hot-footed it up to Mathers to meet JacktheLad & DougM (that’s him in the extra) as the Jambos had another cup-tie for us to watch on the telly, away to Airdrie this time. Happily they made a better job of it than their last cup match and won convincingly. That’s them into the quarter-finals and it’s yet another away game so we’ll be forced back to Mathers. It’s a tough life.
