Last day of the trip

Starting upper left and then clockwise: breakfast room in our hotel, looking down on the pool that I couldn’t visit, then an early start and drive on a nearly empty freeway. The weather looked threatening in the beginning but we felt optimistic as the cars on the opposite side of the road were not snow covered - it had been a freezing cold night. Pic at the bottom shows that at some point even the sun broke through.
By noon we were home, dog was happy to see us.
We quickly unpacked and emptied the car , then took Maggie for a stroll in a dune forest.
