Burnstones Viaduct ...

... comprises six arches, the northernmost being 35 feet in span and having a skew of 64 degrees to carry the Alston branch line (closed) over the A689. This image shows the arches spanning Thinhope Burn. 
A sixty mile ride out on the Speed Twin, for the sole purpose of getting this image. The weather was kind - cold but dry.
