Over to the Sea at Cley

A colder but sunny day was forecast, so I got two lots of washing done and out on the rotary drier, before heading over to Cley for a walk on the marshes to the hides. It all looked lovely with the blue sky, but there weren't many birds around and those that were on the scrape were over the far side. It seems so long since we've had such a bright, sunny day, what a delight. My main photo is taken from the visitor centre, looking across the marshes and scrapes to the beach, sea and wind farm. I've added an extra of some geese flying behind a couple of birdwatchers with a scope, they were completely oblivious or uninterested in what was going on behind them. This afternoon the washing had dried outside and I did the ironing - weirdly satisfying to get it all done in Winter.
