the weather was amazing today so i took the bike up to Evanston to check out the beach. certainly too chilly to jump in the lake, but everywhere you look you see evidence that chicago is thawing out -including this little lady bug. of course this might be one of those nasty beetles that look like a lady bug, but will bite you if you give them the chance. needless to say, i shot this using a zoom lens.
