a lifetime burning

Dee Estuary Spring Tide

Another day on the Wirral, in cold but bright conditions, watching the speed with which the Spring Tide engulfed the foreshore.

The main is a Redshank in flight.  The first extra shows a close up on a large spectacular of Grey Knot.  The final shot shows black headed gulls arguing over which one of them gets to eat another of Vincent the Vole's friends and relations.

The journey home took much longer than planned as the M6 was shut between junctions 15 and 16 and long queues developed.  Still I'm home now and looking forward to working my way through the large number of photos that I've taken.
