My Life With Luna

By chrisA

As the low tide time was perfect and rain was forecast for late this afternoon we decided to take Luna to Walton on the Naze this morning as it's one of her favourite places to run and catch up with lots of doggie friends.
The rain started just after we set off but we carried on and had an enjoyable walk although the rain plus wind off the sea made it feel much colder than it was.
As we headed back the tide had turned and the sea was soon covering the sandy beach.   Once we were off the beach we stopped to watch several Turnstones looking for food on the lichen covered concrete structures.    They move so quickly, but not as quick as the little Sanderlings scurrying along looking for food before the sea covered the beach completely.
