The Cuckoo's Calling

I absolutely loved this book. It was another one which was very difficult to put down - I had this one read in no time at all.

The story follows a private detective called Cormorant Strike, who takes on a case of the brother of a supermodel, Lula Landry, who has allegedly committed suicide by throwing herself from her balcony. The story follows Cormorant's investigation into her death, exposing him to a world of fame, fortune and glamour, filled with lies and deceit.

This book takes you on a journey in which you immerse yourself in the lives of the characters and makes you feel like you are Cormorant's side-kick.

The book's author is Robert Galbraith, a pseudonym for J.K. Rowling, the writer of the Harry Potter novels.
