Recce

It's been a couple of years since I ran a lichens workshop and in that time there's been a lot of tree planting, and consequentially fencing, in the valley I use. So today I went for a quick recce.
Found the most amazing chunk of exposed volcanic bedrock that I've not seen before. About 16ft long and over 20 different lichen visible to the eye. Result.

Rest of the day spent trying to sort an irritating legal annoyance with far far distant genetically related people . Did result in the coining of the term shit-siblings. Like step-siblings only more.... well I'm sure you can work it out....
