Quilts 2 Heal

A very fun afternoon giving quilts to young mothers and mothers-to-be. This is a small number of a group of women and one man responsible for making quilts to give. I’ve been volunteering with this group for almost a year now. It all started with a donation to all the parents of the Sandy Hook shootings in 2012. The woman who started it is the red haired lady on the right. They have donated quilts to the Navaho community, the families in Uvalde, TX, nursing homes, Veterans homes and on and on. We brought 70+ quilts and gave 46. The women could pick the ones they wanted. Some are in the foreground.
