Streaks of light

Happy Arizona Statehood Day! And Valentine's Day. Jill and I celebrated by exchanging gifts. She got me bourbon-barrel-aged coffee (which she actually gave me last week when I ran out of coffee but was recovering from surgery and couldn't go out to buy more), maple syrup (aged in a bourbon barrel, because of course), and a little toy dinosaur that I had in my youth. She saw photos of it in my dad's slides, and I told her about it. She uploaded a photo on a website that found it, and she bought it on eBay.

I got her a Pirates of the Caribbean toy and chocolates with $50 in Knoebels tickets.

We ate American wagyu steak on rice for dinner. It was a good day.
