No Mattress

This is the new bed for Jude's courgettes, to begin with. It is 3m by 1.2m and is to replace one half this size. 

Sawn to length, drilled screw holes, weatherproofed all the bare woodland, and balanced precariously to assemble. All the screws went in fine until the 16th and final one, when the battery ran out of juice.  Now just need to lift it into place.

As I was doing this, I noticed all the crocuses had come up in a blaze of colour (see the extra).
