Repetition spines

Another wet and miserable day  in Aberaeron. Took the dogs for a walk around the harbour  where they’ve started work on the flood defences and pier. It is costing £32 million and scheduled to take over 12 months. It will improve the north quay wall and extend the north pier as well as further strengthening of the coastal defences on South Beach. However, it will  cause a great deal of disruption especially to holiday makers in the summer season. The extra shows the harbour with the tide in and without the clutter of moored yachts. You may be able to make out the temporary flood defences on the right hand side of the harbour.
This afternoon I decided to travel back to Cardiff a day early to seek better weather.
The main continues Monochrome for February and is my contribution to the Abstract Thursday challenge with the theme of “repetition” - a close up of the spines of a Monkey Tree.
Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting and congratulations on 4000 blips!
